Inspired by the work of Richard Serra, our Office Pod concept is conceived as a deliberately contemporary and abstract intervention into any garden space or office floor plate.

The simple form is optimised to take advantage of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC for short). Limited to 2.9m wide, the pod is able to be transported completely finished on the back of a flat bed truck to be craned into position. Formed from Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) the warm tones and textures of the CLT panels is expressed internally. Services are exposed to promote an industrial aesthetic. Cladding is a simple rainscreen cladding system with several options for finish, from composite acrylic stone and metal panels to the more common timber panelling.

In keeping with our sustainable design credentials the pods are insulated with over 200mm of mineral wool insulation, nearly double the market standard, and have triple glazed windows, reducing energy consumption on a building type that is typically heated electrically.
